About us
Eldercare services are varied, based on individual and community needs, and tailored to your particular situation. We focus on conducting Elder Needs Assessments to determine which resources currently exist that support aging in place, building and strengthening those resources, and working in partnership with communities to seek out services and supports to enable their Elders to remain at home. We have successful worked in collaboration with the NW and SW regions of Alaska to conduct Elder Needs Assessments, which is has resulted in improved services and programs targeting Elders and their families.
We will preserve your culture and history by providing an outlet for sharing your stories, knowledge, and experiences with the younger generations. One of our goals is to promote health and wellbeing from a holistic perspective and honor our Native Elders. We wish to partner with you, your family, and community to develop a plan to support your Elders to age in place, with dignity and respect, and have a meaningful role in their family and community.
Services include: community assessments, coordination of elder care services, the incorporation of community and family support, language, culture, traditional values, and subsistence diets and foods into services, both at the community level and the institutional care levels. We are trained to work with communities and organizations to develop programs and services to honor our Elders and respect their culture, language, values, beliefs, and life experiences.
